He was predeceased by: his mother Gwendolyn E. Pelote; his grandparents, Alexander Pelote Sr., Rosalie Best Pelote Miller and Mack Willie Miller; his uncles, Carl Leroy Best Sr., Alexander Pelote Jr. and Alphonso Pelote; and his great-grandparents, Maude Best Mims and James Miles Best.
He is survived by: his children, Mechelle Clair (Marco), Jonathan Pelote and Andrew Pelote; his sister Alledine R Goines; and his grandchildren, Mario Jackson II, Mechi Butler, Morgan Clair and Eliana Pelote. He is also survived by relatives and friends.
