She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Williams and Ella Mae Williams Loury; her husband Johnny Young; her son Corrie Young; and her brother Harvey Williams.
She is survived by: her children, Jonathan Young (Shequilla), Edgar Young (Sharon), Loretta James (Jerome) and Gwendolyn Delois Byrd; her sister Emma Williams; her brother-in-law Ronnie Williams; and her uncle Nathaniel Smith. She is also survived by one niece; 8 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, 14 great-great- grandchildren; 1 great-great-great grandchild.
