It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leon Russell Borg Sr. (Savannah, Georgia), who passed away on January 13, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon Borg and Kathleen McCorkle McGrath Borg; his wife Della June Wise Borg; his son David Borg; his granddaughter Alysa Luke; and his brother Tony McGrath.
He is survived by: his son Leon Russell "Rusty" Borg, Jr.; his grandchildren, Joshua, Caleb (Karli) and Crystal; and his siblings, Donald Borg (Nancy), Patty Velatini, Dennis McGrath (Georgia), Kathy McGrath Hupp, Linda McGrath and Tim McGrath (Linda).
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel (7200 Hodgson Memorial Dr, Savannah, GA 31406).
