With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Karen Renee McKinney of Savannah, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 14, 2024 at the age of 62. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Karen departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Karen. Though Karen may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She is survived by: her son Koron McKinney; her siblings, Greg Jason, Sr., Patrick Hicks, Gayle Bostick, Sandy Bostick, Stephanie "Cookie" Bostick and Vanessa Bostick; her grandsons, Ashton McKinney and Elijah McKinney; her nephew Travis Sanders; and her cousin Brenda Hendrix.
Viewing was held on Friday, September 20th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Sylvania Funeral Home of Savannah (102 Owens Industrial, Savannah, GA 31405). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 21st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
