With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John R. Kasun (Savannah, Georgia), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 16, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his sister Marlene Havranek; and his nephew Eric Taormino. He is survived by: his wife Doris; his son Stephen; his daughter-in-law Heidi Kasun of Savannah; his daughter Cassy; his son-in-law Mike Lewis of Salisbury; his grandchildren, Simon and Kara Lewis; his sister Darlene; his brother-in-law A. J. Taormino; his niece Rochelle Taormino; and his nephews, David and Jeffrey Havranek.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the St. James the Less Catholic Church (8412 Whitefield Ave, Savannah, GA 31406). A Mass was held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that you consider a donation in Jack's memory to St. James the Less Catholic Church.
