Joe left this world on October 16, 2024 at the age of 93, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his former wife Rita Graziani Morgan; his parents, Mary Mohar Morgan and Joe Morgan, Sr.; and his siblings, Frank Morgan Thomas (Agnes), Alex Morgan (Mary Ann), Edward Morgan (Marie), Ann Morgan Sikina (John), Margaret Morgan Gerlach (John) and Rose Morgan Przeklasa (Jack).
He is survived by: his wife Theresa Sullivan Morgan; his children, Frank Morgan (Jean), Joseph Morgan (Mariel), Anna Morgan Anderson (Paul) and Thomas Morgan (Lori); and his stepchildren, Arlete Sullivan Bacon (Chris) and Thomas Sullivan. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, October 21st 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Savannah Catholic Pastoral Center (2170 E Victory Dr, Savannah, GA 31404). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, October 21st 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Writing Center at Georgia Southern University – Armstrong Campus.
