He is survived by: his wife Jeanie Oglesbee; his children, Joseph Christopher Oglesbee (Teri), Teri Lynn Oglesbee, Susan Elizabeth Oglesbee-Hyatt, Judith April Farnham (Steve), David Thomas Smoak (Cheryl) and Daniel Charles Smoak (Meagen); his grandchildren, Dylan Oglesbee (Marlin), Amber Oglesbee, Ryan Hyatt, Cora Hyatt, Christina Kramer (Ryan), Lauren Bicknell, Magen Taulpey Lindsay (Kole) and Paul Smoak (Michelle); his great grandchildren, Liam Williams Taylor, Addy Kramer, Hudson Brown, Miles Brown, Mason Smoak and Camdyn Burnett; and his siblings, Jeannette Griner, C. B. Davis and Danny Davis. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Hillcrest Abbey West Cemetery (1336 Dean Forest Rd, Garden City, GA 31405).
