She was predeceased by: her husband William Oliver "Bill" Duke; her son Douglas Allen Duke; and her parents, Galvin Washington Cowart and Pearl Findley Cowart. She is survived by: her children, Denise Duke Wilds, Richard Andrew Duke (Beverly) and William Stephen "Steve" Duke (Jan). She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Baker McCullough Funeral Home Garden City Chapel (2794 US-80, Garden City, GA 31408). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at the Forest Lawn Memory Gardens (315 Greenwich Rd, Savannah, GA 31404).
