He was predeceased by: his parents, Gustavous Holmes Bell, Jr. and Ada "Widdy" Williams Alford Bell; and his wives, Mandy Morris Bell and Jan Hall Bell. He is survived by: his child Holmes; his close friends, Governor John West and Zuhair Yassin; his children, Lisa Bell Dargan (Perrin) and Adair Bell Woods (Jim); his siblings, Suzanne Bell McLaurin (Mac) and Sion Bell (Debbie); his grandchildren, Amanda Cornelson (Shaw), Marshall Rodman (Max), Grace Weisiger, Elizabeth Woods, William Woods, John Woods, Gus Bell V and Wylly Bell; his great grandchild Louise Bell Cornelson; and his caregivers, Tracie Blackwell, Mel Roper, Sonia Moore, Catherine Ward and Shelly Vajk. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
