He was predeceased by: his parents, Noble Cain and Belle Terrel Cain; his son Lt. John Cain; and his siblings, Dorothy Margworth and Allen Cain.
He is survived by: his wife Lois Cooler of Savannah; his children, Robert G. Cain (Lynsee) of Roswell, Thomas N. Cain (Lois) of Jesup, Wendy Powers (Sidney) of Loco and Stacy Armstrong (Mark) of Savannah; his daughter-in-law Karma Cain of Richmond Hill; and his sister Julia Sander of Seiling, Oklahoma. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and several, nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Baker McCullough Funeral Home (7415 Hodgson Memorial Dr, Savannah, GA 31406). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the same location.
