He was predeceased by: his parents, Rosa Lee Phoenix and Albert Meyers; and his sister Ruthie M. Rivers of McDonough, GA.. He is survived by: his children, Ava Phoenix of Jacksonville, FL, Bernadette King (Jarvis) of Marietta, GA and Eugene J. Phoenix (Chenay) of Savannah; his grandchildren, Eric Phoenix, Jordan King, Brooke King and Brandon King; and his siblings, Leroy Phoenix of Decatur, GA and Christola Phoenix of New York, NY. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
