He was predeceased by: his parents, Ellis Brant and Helen Brant; and his brother Eldon Brant. He is survived by: his son Zachary Brant; and his daughter-in-law Tara Brant.
In accordance with Dixon's final wishes and in gratitude for their support during his later years, donations may be made in his memory to Sylvania First Methodist Church at P.O. Box 258 Sylvania GA, 30467.
