He was predeceased by: his parents, Guy Elmo Maddox and Mary Laverty Maddox; his wife Myrna Turner Maddox; and his sister Joan Burnett. He is survived by: his sons, Dean "Dino" Maddox, Jr. (Robin) and Nathan Maddox; his brother Perry Maddox (Vera); and his grandchildren, Kayla Maddox (Caleb Tanner) and Jacob Maddox.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Baker McCullough Funeral Home, Hodgson Memorial Chapel (7415 Hodgson Memorial Dr, Savannah, GA 31406). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Beaufort National Cemetery (1601 Boundary St, Beaufort, SC 29902).
