It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Coy Ashford Short (Savannah, Georgia), born in Moultrie, Georgia, who passed away on September 7, 2018, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Eloise Short Strom and Ernest Short. He is survived by: his wife Judith Compton Short of Savannah; his children, Gregory Short (Rhonda) of Savannah and Karen Martin (Tom) of St. Simons Island; his brother Duke of Chesnee, S. C.; his brother-in-law James Compton (Ruth Ellen) of Columbus; and his grandchildren, Dustin Short, Tyler Short, Scott Martin, Jennifer Martin and Jessica Martin. He is also survived by three great grandchildren; a niece and four nephews.
