With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Claude Edward Summerlin Jr. of Savannah, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 9, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Claude Edward shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Claude Edward farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Edward Summerlin, Sr. and Faye Wiggins Summerlin; and his sisters, Patty Summerlin and Lisa Marie Summerlin. He is survived by: his wife Linda Summerlin; his daughter Lisa Summerlin Harrison; his grandchildren, Tyler Harrison and Brianna Harrison; and his nephew Kenny Rahn (Brittany).
Visitation was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Thomas C. Strickland & Sons Funeral Homes – West Chatham Chapel (901 US-80, Pooler, GA 31322). A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
