He was predeceased by: his parents, William McNeill and Carrie McNeill; and his son Steven McNeill. He is survived by: his wife Ruth E. McNeill; his children, Claudia E. McNeill (Aimee), Anna M. McNeill and Richard E. McNeill; his grandchildren, Karen, Brett, Elizabeth and Christy; and his great grandchildren, Caitlyn and Jeffrey. He is also survived by 2 brothers and 3 sisters.

In lieu of flowers remembrances may be made to the Alzheimer Association.
