She is survived by: her sons, Wendell Harvey and Willie Payton; her stepchildren, Milranda Scott, Tammy Lanier, Stacy Wright, Melissa Brown, Lesa Lanier, Carol Evans and Theo Lanier, Jr.; her siblings, Annie Clay of Washington, D. C. of Statesboro, GA, Evelyn Campbell (Hezekiah) of Statesboro, GA, Mary Wright of Statesboro, GA, Rosalyn Eason (William) of Savannah, GA and Bennie Harvey (Mildred) of Petersburg, VA; her grandchildren, Bryant Payton-Smith, Willie Sheldon, Clyde Bowers, Carolyn, Latoya Best and Shekia Waters-Cornell; and her siblings-in-law, Herman Lanier and Doretha Holt (Rufus). She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren.
