It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Brent Raymond Ellmers in Savannah, Georgia, who passed away on February 3, 2025, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Betty Ellmers. He is survived by: his father Edwin "Skip" Ellmers; his wife Renee Ellmers of Dunn; his son Benjamin Ellmers of Dunn; his siblings, Glen Ellmers of Cary and Karen Ellmers of Jeffersonville, Indiana; his nephew Kevin Jacisin; and his nieces, Allison Lagstrom, Jennifer Ensley, Theresa Flores, Megan Miller, Mackenzie Miller and Amy Kavanaugh.
A rosary was held on Sunday, February 9th 2025 at 3:30 PM at the Skinner & Smith Funeral Home (905 Erwin Rd, Dunn, NC 28334). Visitation was held on Sunday, February 9th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association in Brent's name in honor of his loving mother, Betty Ellmers, and mother-in-law, Caroline Jacisin.
