He was predeceased by: his parents, Jonah Evans Hayslip and Lela Mae Gillis Hayslip; his siblings, Charles Hayslip, J. E. Hayslip, Bobby Hayslip, Lynn Hayslip, Lela Mae Webb, Dale Hosti and Margie Gulley; his children, Paul Dunn Hayslip and April Leigh Smith; and his grandsons, Paul Dunn Hayslip, Jr. and Mason Dean Hayslip.
He is survived by: his son Glen Eugene Hayslip; his grandsons, Robert Brandon Smith and Ryan David Smith; and his brother Alton Hayslip. He is also survived by his many friends and neighbors.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Islands Chapel (4605 US-80, Savannah, GA 31410). A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Marlow Cemetery (2351 Georgia 17 S, Royston, GA 30662).
