She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar Allen and Ruth Jane Plott Haynes; her husband James Kaigler; and her daughter Brenda Jean Beckwith. She is survived by: her children, Nancy Hankinson, Cynthia Dianne Belcher (Steve), Jesse McTaggart (Laura) and James Kaigler II (Elizabeth Van Hoy); her grandchildren, Stephanie Godbee, Ross Mann, Danielle Bonner (Dusty), Catie Raaker (Andy), Kaigler Mann, Erick Mann (Brandy), Taylor Stewart, Victoria Stewart and Noble Beckwith (Emily); her great grandchildren, Ashley, Kimberly Schwartz, Cole, Brooke Godbee, Olivia, Callie Raaker, Ellie, Lily Mann, Colton, Dustin, Christian Bonner and Alexander Mann; and her sister Bobbie Grotton. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and life long friends.

Visitation was held on Saturday, October 19th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Baker McCullough Funeral Home, Hodgson Memorial Chapel (7415 Hodgson Memorial Dr, Savannah, GA 31406). A memorial service was held on Saturday, October 19th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, October 19th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Hillcrest Abbey West Cemetery (1336 Dean Forest Rd, Savannah, GA 31405).
