It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joyce Steiner (Sautee Nacoochee, Georgia), born in Johnsonburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 11, 2019, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Axel T. Alexis and Edith Larson Alexis; her brother The Reverend E. Jerome; her son-in-law Jerel J. Erne, MD; her brother Roger D. Alexis of Bradford, PA; and her children, Signe Erne of Sautee Nacoochee, GA, Leah Abbey of Colonial Heights, VA, Mark Steiner (Melissa) of Lanham, MD and The Reverend Roger Steiner (Gwen) of Turtle Creek, PA.. She was also cherished by four grandchildren, four great grandchildren, two step- grandsons, four step great grandchildren, and one step great great grandson.
