She was predeceased by: her parents, Benny Checchia and Mildred Donato Checchia; and her sister Marie McMorrough. She is survived by: her husband Cheston Berrong Kimsey Jr.; her sons, Berrong (Lori Kimsey), Sautee, Greg (Gail Kimsey), Clarkesville and Keith (Adriana Kimsey); her grandchildren, Tonya, Jason Fowler, Chris, Cydia Kimsey, Candler Kimsey, Karson Kimsey, Cameron Kimsey, Ashley Kimsey, Alec Kimsey and Amber Kimsey; her great grandchild Phoebe Fowler; and her niece Vicki McMorrough.
