He is survived by: his wife Sylvia Ann Holton Galloway; his children, Sidney (Kim Galloway), Melanie Galloway, Suzanne (John Fox), John (Jennifer Galloway), Marietta and Julie (Jon Estes); his stepchildren, Timothy DeWitt of Punta Gorda, FL, Sherri Vaughn of Crestview, FL, Lance and Christine DeWitt; his brother Dr. Richard Eugene; his sister-in-law Anne Galloway; his grandchildren, Sidney, Carly Galloway, Ian, Brittney Galloway, Andrew Galloway, Parker Galloway, Jensen Galloway, Caroline Galloway, Sarah Jean Estes, Jonathan Estes, Hannah Estes, Stacey DeWitt, Kaili Vaughn, Aarron, Skyra Simoneaux, Annalea Kelley and Lilly Kelley; and his great grandchildren, Grace Galloway, Sophia Galloway, Luke Galloway, Ben Galloway, Alyvia Boules, Julia Jones, William Jones, Anthony Simoneaux and Renezmae Simoneaux.
He served on the board of directors during the foundation of the Rockingham Motor Speedway in Rockingham, NC.
