She was predeceased by: her parents, James Henry "Buddy" Ferguson, Sr. and Willo Dean Britt Ferguson; and her stepmother Lenora Ferguson (John Ross). She is survived by: her daughters, Penny Hamby (Kevin) of Dawson, Britt Landers (Cliff) of Plains, Claudette Hayes (Michael) of Edison, Donna Melton of Shellman and Leigh Edwards (Robert) of Sasser; her siblings, India Herrington (Bubber) of Sasser and James Henry "Buckwheat" Ferguson, Jr. (Wanda) of Shellman; and her grandchildren, Kayla Hamby (Cedrick), Little Kevin Hamby, Devin Hamby (Alaina), Cody Causey, Gracen Poole (Jacob), Blake Daniels (Kirsten), Jordan Daniels, Paige Stafford (Zach), Kylee Hayes, Bella Hayes, John Tucker, Willo Tucker and Piper Edwards. She is also survived by 7 great grandchildren.
