He is survived by: his daughters, Cassy Lane (Gabe) of Grovetown, Leigh Ewing (Robert) of Hephzibah, Leslie Denney (Dennis) of Martinez, Lori Newman (Kevin) of Martinez, Heather Stokes (Matt) of Lyons and Blair Merritt (Amos) of Lyons; his siblings, Judy Taylor of Millen, Harriett Spangenburg (Jerry) of Byron, GA and Donnie Shepard of Griffin; and his close friend Phyllis Shepard. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren.

Remembrances may be made to the Sardis Methodist Church.
