She was predeceased by: her husband German Archer, Sr.; her children, Charles Darrisaw and Brenda Hall; her granddaughter Miss Kyndall Mathis; and her siblings, Dorothy Walker, Ella Mae Merrell, Mary Alice Darrisaw, Vinnie Lee Smith and Bobby Lee Grooms.
She is survived by: her children, Danny Mathis (Pam), Edward Mathis (Patricia), Stanley Mathis (Philisa), Linda Miller (Anthony) and Cathy Mathis (Reginald); her sister Annie Ruth Walden (Georgia); and her friend Annette Fleming. She is also survived by twenty-two grandchildren; thirty-two great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Woodlawn Cemetery.
