He was predeceased by: his parents, Thurman Pope, and Ermie Stewart Pope, Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Lynn R. Pope of Wrightsville; his daughters, Kimberly Snider (Mark) of Tennille and Kelli Carter (Eddie) of Sandersville; and his sisters, Thelma P. Bolt of Rome and Betty P. Hicks of Forsyth. He is also survived by 3 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
