With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Randy Walden of Sandersville, Georgia, born in Gibson, Georgia, who passed away on October 19, 2021 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester T. Walden Sr. and Ruth Walden; his sister Ann W. Reid; and his granddaughter Michelle Smith. He is survived by: his wife Virginia Durden Walden; his siblings, Dale Price (Paul) of Gibson and Lester T. Walden, Jr. (Vilanda) of Augusta; his daughter Latasha Burkett of Sandersville; and his stepchildren, David Mathis of Sandersville, Johnny Mathis of Sandersville, Scott Mullis (Serena) of Davisboro, Rusty Mullis of North Carolina and Angie Blue (William) of Wrightsville. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews, and friends.
