It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Patricia Chapman Garner of Sandersville, Georgia, born in Columbia, South Carolina, who passed away on May 24, 2023, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Andrew Chapman and Thelma Lou Hodges Chapman. She is survived by: her husband Billy Garner; her children, Michael Carey Franklin (Candice) of Sandersville and Tricia Franklin Huff (Phillip) of Milledgeville; her grandson D. J. Wall of Milledgeville; and her brothers, Ted Chapman (Gudrun) of Atlanta, Henry Chapman (Shirley) of Tennille and David Chapman of Sandersville. She is also survived by step-children; step-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made to the Sandersville First Baptist Church's Ghana Fund, 316 Mathis Circle, Sandersville, GA 31082.
