He was predeceased by: his parents, Lora Parker Etheridge and Owen Erwin Etheridge Sr.; and his sister Sara Owen Etheridge. He is survived by: his daughters, Shannon Etheridge Whitten and Mary Rebecca Etheridge; his stepdaughter Lauren Adams Bonno (Tony); his grandchildren, Mary Elizabeth Etheridge Walton and Will Marsh Whitten; and his sister Barbara Etheridge Newsom (Strick). He is also survived by Nieces, great nephews, and cousins.
Owen made contributions to numerous successful research projects, including a patent in 1997.
