He was predeceased by: his parents, Lucy Swift Reese Ginn and David Rudolf Ginn; and his siblings-in-law, Glynn Robinson and Anne Jones. He is survived by: his daughters, Laura Mason (John) of Sandersville and Heather Pope (Mike) of Amelia Island, FL; his grandchildren, Noah, Christian Mason, Jackson, Davis Pope and Dashton; his sisters, Deborah Cain (Tommy) of Sandersville and Nancy Pearson (Casey) of Lourinha, Portugal; his stepmother Faye Ginn of Sandersville; his brothers-in-law, William Jackson of Perry and George Jackson (Carolyn) of Macon; and his wife Jean Jackson of Wrightsville. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Donations may be made to First Baptist Church Sandersville for the FBC Sandersville Children's Wing Renovation.
