He is survived by: his wife Barbara Ann Bridges Elliott; his children, Michael Barnes (April) of Warthen, Mechelle Amanda Lewis (Brian) of Sandersville and Bennett Barnes (Mary) of Sandersville; his grandchildren, Christian Williford, Connor Williford, Charlotte Barnes, Cheyenne Dutton (Bud Bracewell), Brandon Yates, Sydney Barnes, Whitney Barnes, Britney Barnes, Stormy Barnes, Bennett Barnes, Jr., Cammie Leigh Braddock, Alex Poss and Melanie Poss; his father-in-law Lowell Bridges of Sandersville; and his sisters-in-law, Betty Jean Lanthrip of Sandersville, Geraldine Hodges of Sandersville, Linda Sue Batten (Danny) of Tennille and Sherry Lynn Patisaul (Randy) of Rentz. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
