He is survived by: his former wife Betty Fleming; his son Lindra Fleming, Jr.; and his siblings, Ella Wadley, Glenda Womble, Joyce Womble, Barbara Cumming (Samuel), Saketha Butts (Thomas), George L. Womble, Jr., Tommy Womble and Wayne Womble. He is also survived by three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
