It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lee Lewis Hicks Sr. (Sandersville, Georgia), who passed away on May 4, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Abe Hicks Sr. and Eva Carswell Hicks; his wife Lucille Hicks; his daughter Sheila Hicks; and his siblings, Abe Hicks Jr., Aileen Darrisaw, Essie Mae Warthen and Lessie Mae Hicks.

He is survived by: his children, Tanya Marie Hicks and Lee Lewis Hicks Jr.; and his granddaughter Tanea Marie Crawford of Chicago, Illinois.. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
