It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Douglas Raines of Sandersville, Georgia, who passed away on November 8, 2021, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Ralph Raines and Mary Carolyn Douglas Raines; and his daughter Angela Cameron Raines. He is survived by: his wife Angela Lord Raines of Sandersville; and his siblings, Lynn Pope (T. L.) of Wrightsville, Kay Bedgood (Gary) of Tennille, Julianne Haskins (Bill) of Warner Robins and Malone Raines (Peggy) of Gordon. He is also survived by numerous in laws, nieces and nephews.
The family request donations be made to the Cam Raines Memorial Scholarship Fund at Washington County High School.
