She is survived by: her husband Robert Yates of Sandersville; her children, Jammy McCoy (Shalena) of Sandersville, Robert Yates Jr. of Tennille, Travis Yates (Hillary) of Sandersville and Jeffrey Yates (Rose) of Sandersville; her grandchildren, Ridge McCoy (Madison), Emalee McCoy, Bailee McCoy, Charli Yates, Dylan Yates, Brooklyn Yates, Lainey Yates, Abby Yates, Libby Yates and Jeffrey Yates, Jr.; her siblings, Faye West of Sandersville, Frankie Ellis (Latrell) of Rock Mart and Ricky Ellis (Charlene) of Tennille; and her sister-in-law Gail Ellis of Tennille.

Visitation was held on Sunday, December 29th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the May and Smith Funeral Home Chapel (1119 Riddleville Rd, Sandersville, GA 31082). A celebration of life was held on Sunday, December 29th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
