He was predeceased by: his parents, James Brinson Hudson and Sallie Ruth Jones Parker; his wife Carol Moat Hudson; his grandson Josh Sheram; and his brother-in-law Elvis McCoy.
He is survived by: his children, Jill Hudson Thompson (Jamie) of Riddleville and Brent Hudson, Sr. of Riddleville; his stepdaughters, Kerri Channel of Sandersville and Sandi Smith of Milledgeville; his grandchildren, Austin Kent, Maci Thompson (Cody), Shelby Hudson, Brent Hudson, Jr., Erica Smith, Emily Smith and Tori Beth Sheram; his great grandchildren, Lyric Girvin, Karson Girvin, Rylee Phillips and Waylon Phillips; his sisters, Deborah Robinson (Mike) of Davisboro, Donna Hudson McCoy of Warthen and Leslie Parker Hudson (Mark) of Warthen; and his pet Stella. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
