She is survived by: her husband George Ellis Askew; her children, Dianne Cullens and George Mckale Askew (Sumiko); and her siblings, Maudie Ree Haynes, Dorothy Stafford, Jewel Davis, Geneva Leath, Willie Mae Wright, Ronnie Castleberry and Ledell Castleberry (Charlene). She is also survived by five grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends.
