With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gwendolyn Murphy Jenkins of Sandersville, Georgia, who passed away on December 31, 2024 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, W. C. Murphy, Jr. and Rubye Gilmore Murphy; her husband Bobby Loren Jenkins; and her sons, Bruce, Brian and Richard Jenkins, Sr..
She is survived by: her children, Barbara Jones (Greg) of Sandersville and Bill Jenkins of Sandersville; her grandchildren, Chris Jenkins (Tetra), Abigail Jones, Robbie Jenkins, Sam Jones, Richard Jenkins, Jr. (Zoe) and Heather Foskey (Hugh); her great grandchildren, Logan Jenkins, Bowie Henry, John Jenkins and Harley Davis; her sisters, Mary Murphy and Karen May; and her nieces, Rebecca May and Anna Vickery (Jason).
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made to the Christian Life Center, P.O. Box 5057, Sandersville, Ga 31082.
