He was predeceased by: his father Teofilo Grant; and his son German Grant. He is survived by: his children, Delroy Grant of New York, Magaly Grant of Costa Rica and Kattia Grant-Reinoso of New York; and his wife Clemencia Rojas of Costa Rica. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
