He was predeceased by: his parents, Lonnie J. Moye, Jr. and Eulawynn Raley Moye; and his brother Lonnie "John" Moye, III. He is survived by: his wife Brenda W. Moye; his children, Clark Moye (Denise) and Tiffany Moye Prince (Jason); his granddaughters, Peyton Prince and Emily Prince; his brother Jimmy Moye; his stepchildren, Michael Thigpen (Dedrie), Johnathan Thigpen (Jennifer) and Jennifer Thigpen; and his stepgrandchildren, Danny Fechner and Mary Nicholson.

Brentwood School recognized Franks contributions to their sports program, by awarding him the Booster Club Eagle Award.
