He is survived by: his close friend Dorothy Brooks; his children, Chiquita Moore, Anthony Burke (Natashia), Vivian Burke and Freddie Brooks; his siblings, Mildred Dixon, Virginia Burke, Mary Julia Brown, Julius Brown, Gloria Weems and Nathaniel Watson; and his friend Jeannie Mae Brooks. He is also survived by twenty three grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members.
