With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Thomas Edward Echols of Saint Simons Island, Georgia, born in Jesup, Georgia, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Edward and Clara Hudson Thomas Echols, Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Harris Echols of St. Simons Island; his sons, Thomas Edward "Ted" (Margaret Echols, Jr.), John Thomas "Harris" (Tricia Echols) and James Ivey "Jake" (Kelli Echols); his brother Earl Edward Echols, Jr. of Patterson; and his grandchildren, Edie, Tom, Thomas, Luke, Jack, Sarah Kate, Addyson Rose, Ivey and Jake. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Patterson Baptist Church (5770 Main St, Patterson, GA 31557). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
