It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Baer of Saint Simons Island, Georgia, born in Macon, Georgia, who passed away on August 16, 2020, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Margaret Hardeman Baer of Macon and Max Baer; and his brother Herbert "Buzzy" Baer. He is survived by: his children, Jennifer Baer of Asheville, Robb Baer of Asheville and Bryan Baer of Atlanta, Georgia; his daughters-in-law, Patty Baer and Holly Baer; and his grandchildren, Hayley Hardwick, Peyton Baer, Ellison Baer and Brooks Baer.
