We bid farewell to John Emil Lindgren of Saint Simons Island, Georgia, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 12, 2024 at the age of 90. John Emil touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Florentin Lindgren and Annie Lee Gray Lindgren; his wife Barbara; his brothers, Ed and Gray Lindgren; and his granddaughter Frances Whitehead Lindgren.
He is survived by: his son Jones Lindgren (Mary) of Atlanta; his grandchildren, Mary Craig, Chapman and Kate; his son Stan Lindgren (Beth) of Radnor; his grandchildren, Jack and Maly; and his sister Mary Anne Douglass (Edo) of Augusta. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Fair Haven Methodist Church (1126 N Herndon Rd, Millen, GA 30442). A burial will be held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at the Fair Haven Methodist Church Cemetery (1126 N Herndon Rd, Millen, GA 30442). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Simons Methodist Church (624 Ocean Blvd, St Simons Island, GA 31522).
