Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Ernie Jones of Saint Simons Island, Georgia, who passed away at the age of 78, on March 3, 2025. He was predeceased by: his parents, John A. Jones Sr. and Helen Rebecca Andreu; and his sister Sara Wheeler. He is survived by: his wife Marcie Chancey Jones; his brother John A. Jones, Jr.; his children, Matthew Jones (Leslie), Rebecca Malmquist (Jeffrey), Daniel Jones (Amber), Anthony Jones and Lisa Schulze (John); his grandchildren, Gabe Jones, Emma Jones, Kennedy Chastain, Claire Malmquist, Anna Jones, Conner Jones and Sarah Espino (Jonathan); and his children, Donavan Williams, Carly Williams, Tanner Edwards, Phoebe Jones and John "Jack" Schulze, Jr.. He is also survived by two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, March 9th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Brunswick Memorial Park Funeral Home (4407 US-17, Brunswick, GA 31525). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, March 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Williams Catholic Church (2300 Frederica Rd, St Simons Island, GA 31522).
