He was predeceased by: his parents, John A. Jones Sr. and Helen Rebecca Andreu; and his sister Sara Wheeler. He is survived by: his wife Marcie Chancey Jones; his brother John A. Jones, Jr.; his children, Matthew Jones (Leslie), Rebecca Malmquist (Jeffrey), Daniel Jones (Amber), Anthony Jones and Lisa Schulze (John); his grandchildren, Gabe Jones, Emma Jones, Kennedy Chastain, Claire Malmquist, Anna Jones, Conner Jones and Sarah Espino (Jonathan); and his children, Donavan Williams, Carly Williams, Tanner Edwards, Phoebe Jones and John "Jack" Schulze, Jr.. He is also survived by two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, March 9th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Brunswick Memorial Park Funeral Home (4407 US-17, Brunswick, GA 31525). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, March 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Williams Catholic Church (2300 Frederica Rd, St Simons Island, GA 31522).
