She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvin Ratliff and Ellen McIntosh Ratliff; her former husband Robert W. Highsmith; her husband Harry G. Adams; her daughters, Evelyn Katherine and Rebecca Ann; and her siblings, Ruth R. Hawkins, Alvin M. Ratliff and Richard Ratliff.
She is survived by: her daughter Deborah H. Walker (Mike); her granddaughters, Shelley Young (Gavin), Stacey Hunter (Jed) and Brooke Martin; and her great grandchildren, Walker Young, Eva Kate Martin, Wilkes Martin, Ellen Hunter and Caroline Hunter. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
