William Munk Obituary
With profound sadness, we say goodbye to William Munk of Saint Marys, Georgia, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. William left this world on March 31, 2025 at the age of 91, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
Though William may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those William touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William P. Munk and Estelle Munk (Franklin); and his wife Evelyn. He is survived by: his children, Susan Russell (John) of St. Mary's, Eric Munk of Middle River, MD and Joyce Hamilton of Inverness, FL. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Kalas Funeral Home and Crematory (2973 Solomons Island Rd, Edgewater, MD 21037).
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Bill's name may be made to the American Heart Association, 7272 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75231.
