He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas McNamara and Mary Elizabeth McNamara (Distel); and his brother David McNamara. He is survived by: his wife Susan McNamara (Wellmann) of St. Marys; his children, Colleen Helms (Gunther) of St. Marys, Thomas McNamara (Martina Rose) of Batavia and Michael McNamara (Lisa) of Westchester; his grandchildren, Augustus McNamara, Wallace McNamara, Nicholas Helms and Alexandra Helms; and his niece Marie Casey.
The family would appreciate donations in Roger's name, be made in lieu of flowers, to the Community Hospice Jane and Bill Warner Center for Caring, Community Hospice Center in Fernandina Beach, FL.
